My journey with Japanese started way back in college. I studied Nihongo for two semesters. It included the basics like Hiragana, Katakana, vocabulary and some Kanjis. I remember starting every class with a quiz to write sets of kanas to help us remember them. That helped because I could still read Hiraganas and Katakanas over the years.

Then around 2020 I began relearning the language again. I wanted to build an Anki-style app to help me remember the vocabulary with SRS technique so I started building NihongoX. This is to share my learnings of Japanese in a simple and fun way with interactive quizzes. I incorporated SRS for easy memorization.
